Buying and selling iGaming businesses on igadeals

Every asset on this page is an operating iGaming business or a gaming-related digital asset offered for sale by its owner. Listings are grouped into six classes: B2C online casinos, sportsbooks, B2B platforms and game studios, affiliate and media portfolios, payment and service businesses, and domain and brand packages. Use the filters to narrow by license jurisdiction, target market, monthly net gaming revenue and asking price.

How iGaming assets are priced

Most B2C casinos trade between 2.4x to 4.0x trailing twelve month EBITDA, sportsbooks slightly lower at 2.6x to 3.8x because margin is more volatile, and B2B platforms higher at 3.8x to 5.5x because revenue is contracted and there is no player liability. Affiliate portfolios are priced on trailing net revenue rather than earnings, usually 2.0x to 3.0x. Our valuation guide sets out what moves an asset within its range.

Licenses and what actually transfers

Whether the gaming license comes with the business is the single biggest variable in an iGaming acquisition. Curacao, Anjouan and Tobique assets typically move by share transfer or a new sub-license with notification. Malta, United Kingdom and Isle of Man assets require change of control approval, which takes four to six months and can be refused. Where approval is unlikely, deals are structured as a migration of players and brand onto a license the buyer already holds.
